? ? As we come to the end of a particularly challenging school year, it’s good to reflect again on some of our values. Underpinning everything we do here at ISQ, and at all our sister schools within the International Schools Consortium (iSC), is our commitment to transforming from the inside out. We’ve laid these values out in 9 qualities, called the “iSC9 Qualities”:

“I persist in thinking, inquiring, and discussing even in the presence of threat or fear.”
? ? We watched our students, teachers, and ISQ families approach this unprecedented time with bravery and courage. Our students stood up to uncertainty with courage and resilience, and we are convinced they have come out the other side stronger.
“即使面對威脅或恐懼，我也會堅持思考、探尋和討論?！?/p>
我們看到學生、老師和ISQ所有家庭勇敢地迎接這段時期里那些前所未有的挑戰(zhàn)。學生們滿有勇氣與靈活的面對現(xiàn)實中諸多的不確定性，我們相信他們逐步邁出的腳步會讓自己變得更加強大。

Persistence|堅持|??
“I approach challenges with tenacity, creativity and thinking. I don’t give up.”
To witness our students and teachers, from grades PreK through 12, persist in their learning despite the challenges, the unfamiliarity, the creativity required, really underpinned this value. They didn’t give up, and their persistence paid off.

Throughout everything that happened this past year, our students and teachers have remained committed to their purpose, never taking their eyes off the prize.

Our Head of School, Ben Yap, summed it up well when he said, “We are thankful for the courage and ‘can do’ attitude of our students, parents, and teachers that has enabled us to see through to the end and finish the year with excellence and gratitude.”
